Crowne Square Development
Crowne Square Development in Galway has been granted planning permission for the project in Mervue. The €200 million development which is to contain five office blocks. These are to range from 3 to 6 storeys with a housing development and a 175 room hotel.
The development is to be split into 2 phases the first, phase 1 containing the commercial application. The second will contain a large scale residential element in phase 2.
The application will deliver a significant amount of office space which has been highlighted a a challenge due to the shortage of available space.
Plans for phase 2 will include 286 apartments intended for the rental market, along with a gym, medical centre and a cafe and shops.
The Development is expected to bring at least 250 construction jobs.
