American medical device group has announced it is planning a doubling of its investment with the creation of a new plant which is to add 600 jobs to its Irish based operations.
CEO of the group, Michael Mussellem was: “proud to break ground on a modern state-of-the-art facility in Ireland that will serve as an important addition to our global supply chain”
The investment includes the purchasing of land and construction of the facility which will be involved in the creation of life-saving heart valves.
The life sciences group is expected to 600 jobs through the construction and manufacturing phases.
