Genomics Medicine Ireland to create 600 jobs in Dublin

Genomics Medicine Ireland is set to open a new offices based in Dublin, it follow a €350m investment which aims to create over 600 jobs in the next 5 years. The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund along with other leading global investor have announced this programme with the aim of making Ireland a key hub for research in Genomes.

GMI (Genome Medicine Ireland) which is planning to undertake one of the largest genome sequencing programmes with 1 in 10 people in Ireland to be taking part in the study.

It is aimed at sequencing these genome to gain further understanding into health and to allow further and vastly improved insights to allow more effective medicines and technologies.
