Works Begin on Construction of Wuxi’s New Biologics Facility

Wuxi Biologics in Dundalk have begun construction works on its new biologics facility.
The 48,000 square metres site will be the worlds largest single-use biologics manufacturing facility.
After permission was granted earlier in the year 200,000 tonnes of earth have already been moved and 2,900 cubic metres of concrete have been poured.
Construction workers on the site are currently at 120, but will peak at 2,000 jobs later in the year.
Once completed it will be Wuxi Biologics first facility outside of China.
